Book launch: Social Media for Research Impact
Launch event for our new book ‘Social Media for Research Impact’ will be 19 February in Copenhagen. Everyone is welcome!
Through concise case studies from researchers worldwide, Social Media for Research Impact (Routledge, 2026) illustrates the diverse and often unexpected ways social media enhance academic work, from building collaborative networks and expanding audience reach to creating real-world impact.
It was written by me (Mike) and Marcel Bogers, a professor in the field of innovation management at Eindhoven University of Technology/UC Berkeley and formerly University of Copenhagen.

19 February 2026, 15:00 – 17:00.
